The last day for Xx unit happen to fall on President's day. We learned some fun facts about all the presidents and then worked on our AIR, LAND, WATER project. She divided each animal into one of the three categories.

More addition with her MATH U SEE and some subtracting.
ARTS & CRAFTS
Discussed what are x-rays and then Kanani painted her hands and glued q-tips to form the bones in her hands.
Painted a toilet paper roll orange to make a fox and once the paint dried we colored a heart shape for the face. Then glued an orange paper to the roll for its tail. Came out so cute. Got this idea from Easy Peasy and Fun website.
ACTIVITIES/GAMES
Working on her word cards and doing some reading.
Washing, cleaning, and drying some foxes.
Playing with their xylophones, love the look on Kanani's face. She couldn't stop laughing because she was using her dinosaurs to play the instrument. Silly little girl!
SCIENCE
Once we were done learning about x-rays she went into her vet clinic to x-ray one of her patience in the clinic. Our future Veterinarian.

Watched the second part of the Fox and the Hound, it's such a cute movie. The kids really enjoyed this movie especially the fact they got to enjoy some popcorn while watching it.
