On the seventh day God rested, D also completed his Creation Book.  He was so proud of his book and couldn't wait for his dad to come home to show it to him.

Printed a Creation Wheel which I found on Pinterest but can't seem to find the link.

Celebrated the Sabbath and made a Challah bread (for the first time).  Gotta say it was a fun process, found a video on YouTube that showed me how to braid it using 6 strands, got the recipe from
Barbara Bakes website.  I forgot to take a picture of the table set up with the bread in the middle, candles, and grape juice.  Everyone loved the bread and requested for me to make more.

SCIENCE

This week D learned about volcanoes, got out our poster the kids put together for a Science Fair on Volcanoes.  Went great with this week's lesson.

Made our volcano erupt using baking soda mixed with dish soap and red food coloring, then the kids poured white vinegar on top of the baking soda mix.  They always enjoy making volcanoes and always love to play with their dinosaurs.

Liquid Rock can shape the Earth Experiment

Read all about breathing.

Observed some of D's old chest x-rays of when he had asthma (God healed his body and now his lungs are working at 100%).  Kept the x-rays as a testimony of what God has done for him.  Then we built the breathing model to show us step by step of how our lungs get air and how it works.

K worked hard on her model and then they breathed into their hands to feel how they breath.

Fogger Experiment

D completed his weather chart this week.
