This week we will read about Esther, Persia/Greece at War, the first marathon, Greek freedom threatened, Xerxes at war, Athens, perception in the sense of sight, and the sense of smell.

Worked on reading, spelling, comprehension, poems, Greek words, and Spanish.

MATH

Kids worked on addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, decimals, conversion units, graphs, and word problems. For some odd reason D's pictures won't download, joys of technology.

HISTORY

Read about Esther and Mordecai, the days of Purim, Greek freedom threatened, the battle of marathon, the Persian threat, the Greco-Persian wars, Herodotus, and the first marathon.

SCIENCE

Learned about the depth perception in the sense of sight, the sense of smell, escaping gases, dropping coins, and several experiments.

ART

FIELD TRIPS

Ended the week going to several parks with my parents who came to stay with us during the weekend. Love when they come to visit, miss them, and hate living so far from them.

This week we read about Esther and Mordecai, the days of Purim, Greek freedom threatened, the battle of marathon, the Persian threat, the Greco-Persian wars, Herodotus, and the first marathon. Learned about the depth perception in the sense of sight, the sense of smell, escaping gases, dropping coins, and several experiments. Ended the week going to several parks with my parents who came to stay with us during the weekend. Love when they come to visit, miss them, and hate living so far from them. Now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
