This week we will learn Ruth, Minoans, birth of Samuel, Mycenaeans, God speaks to Samuel, the Aegean Civilization, Theseu and the Minotaur, and early Greece. Also learn about the sun, using the sun to mark time, and colors of the sky.

Kids worked on spelling, reading, writing, and comprehension.

Worked on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, skip counting, and fractions.

Learn about Naomi, Ruth, Boaz, the call of Samuel, the Greeks at war, the Persians fight back, Sparta, victory of Greece, the first marathon, soldiers and armies life at home. Life in Ancient Greece, school, drama, early migrations, the Olympic games, the Aegean civilizations, the Minoans, beehive tombs, tomb treasures, offices, early tombs, bathrooms, and workshops. Also learn about the city of Athens, beautiful buildings, power to the people, and war with Sparta.

SCIENCE

Learned more about the fourth day of Creation, the sun, using the sun to mark time, and the colors in the sky.

ART

Watched "Veggietales Duke and the Great Pie War" to go with our lessons this week.

FIELD TRIPS

No field trips this week, got the news that my abuela passed away, and I left alone to PR to be for her funeral.

Life in Ancient Greece, school, drama, early migrations, the Olympic games, the Aegean civilizations, the Minoans, beehive tombs, tomb treasures, offices, early tombs, bathrooms, and workshops.
