MFW: CTG (4th and 8th Grade) Week 10

This week we will be learning about the cup bearer and the baker, life in Egypt, Pharaoh's dreams, Joseph's brother in Egypt, Joseph's brothers return to Egypt, and Joseph makes himself known to his family. Also learn about Pharaoh's court, clothing, from pharaoh to laborer, weaving, clay pots, food and drink. Read more on water, expansion of water, and solids and liquid forms of water.

Kids worked on spelling, handwriting, paragraph writing and the parts of a paragraph, and new Spanish words.

Worked on addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fraction, word problems, and conversions.

Read about Joseph, his family in Egypt, Pharaoh's dreams, the Egyptian empire, pharaoh, court officials, soldiers, from pharaoh to laborer, priests and priestesses, scribes, artists, craftsmen, and clothing.

SCIENCE

Learned more about the second day of creation, water and the expanse, solids, and liquids.

FIELD TRIPS

Went with our co-op group to learn all about the Morgan Cabin and all its history.

Read about the Egyptian empire, pharaoh, court officials, soldiers, from pharaoh to laborer, priests and priestesses, scribes, artists, craftsmen, and clothing. Also learned about Pharaoh's court, clothing, from pharaoh to laborer, weaving, clay pots, food and drink. Read more on water, expansion of water, and solids and liquid forms of water. Busy week but learned a lot, now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
