Field Trip: Shenandoah Caverns and American Celebration On Parade

FIELD TRIP:  SHENANDOAH CAVERNS & CELEBRATION ON PARADE

Took a trip with the family to Shenandoah Caverns to explore the caves.

Nature is so beautiful and unique.

Kids loved our tour guide and asked so many questions.

Scientist call the things that hang down bacon, looks just like it too.

The wonder of God's almighty work.

Such a wonderful experience.

We can't wait to go back to the caverns again.

Awesome color show.

They call this an egg, the only part in the cavern we were allowed to touch.

Between the Caverns and American Celebration, love the big sign.

After the caverns we visited the American Celebration on Parade which were next to each other.

It was amazing to see how big these floats were.

Wonderful lesson on the floats that were used for the Presidential Parade.  It was neat to them in person and see the excitement in the kids eyes.  Definitely worth a trip to go see again.

FieldTrip: Shenandoah National Park

SHENANDOAH NATIONAL PARK

Went with the family to Shenandoah National Park for a hike.   Just being able to observe all of God's creation and share this time with my family while they visit was an amazing experience.

Few of God's creature we observed.

Got to see 3 beautiful waterfalls on our hike.

Love my beautiful blessed family.

Nature in all its glory.

My twin brother enjoying the hike with us.

My mom and brother taking a closer look at the waterfall.

Certain parts of the park had heavy fog which was really neat and a bit scary.

My dad in his native surroundings.

Love my parents.

Kelvin the Robot who loves to join us in our adventures.

Playing the role of an uncle, helping D to walk the rock wall.

The men looking at the map to see where we will be hiking next.

Field Trip: Museum of the Shenandoah Valley

Museum of the Shenandoah Valley

Enjoyed our visit to Museum of the Shenandoah Valley with the family, love venturing out and exploring all new places close to us.

Few of the beautiful art pieces, "A Fishing Camp along the Shenandoah and Wild Horses".

These were very interesting, and one of the kids favorite pieces.  "Stonewall and Drei Drucker/Three Printers".

Shenandoah #3 and Modern Day Presidential Paintings.

These were amazing pieces done by Neil Stavely "The Redcoat & Roadhouse Siren".

THINGS COME APART SECTION:

Saltcellars and Tea Kettle
K's favorite piece of the museum: Drei Drucker/Three Printers.

James Stove side plate and front plate.

Key Basket & Birth Certificate

Blanket Chest

Few of the foods made in Shenandoah, VA and a painting of "Down in Shenandoah".

Just beautiful

Julian Wood Glass Jr. Collection

Enjoyed searching for the different fruits in the paintings.

Beautiful pieces that look better in person.

We loved miniature house section in the museum, all the details that went into making everything like that real thing.

The books are the exact replica of the original ones, which blew my mind.  There was so much to see and to think everything works, like the lights.

Look at how the kitchen's look back then.

Few of the beautiful flowers and honeybees that are outside of the museum.

Hope you enjoy a few of the pictures I posted of the museum.
