This week we will learn about Charles Darwin, the Origin of Species, Sigmund Freud, Science gives us a new explanation of dreams, education and work of John Dewey, higher criticism, the world, Africa, Europe, Oceania, and World War I.  Also learn about opium in China, Napoleon, Emperor Napoleon, the kingdom at the center of the world, the rise of the opium trade, Egypt, home to Mount Vernon, and the Rosetta stone.

CONCLUSION

This week we read about Vermont, Kentucky, Tennessee, Rosetta Stone, Napoleon Bonaparte, the Louisiana Purchase, Italy, Egypt, home to Mount Vernon, Charles Darwin, education and the work of John Dewey, Sigmund Freud, Africa, China, Russian defeat at Tsushima, Asia, Europe, the Russian Revolution, New Zealand, and the opium trade in China.  Learned about root systems, geophytes, rooting, root classification hunt, and taproots.  Another busy week of learning and fun, now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
