MFW: WHL (10th Grade) and Exploration to 1850 (6th Grade) Week 20

This week we learned about John Locke, two treatises of government, the French Revolution, Declaration of the rights of man and of the citizen, eating through the centuries, Europe, Africa, Revolutionary War, George Washington, the American Revolution, the peace treaty, empires old and new, Benedict Arnold traitor, Cornwallis surrenders, and Thomas Jeffereson at Monticello.

Learned about John Witherspoon, John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg, Benedict Arnold, Cornwallis Surrenders, Washington marches against Yorktown, the American Revolution, tea in the sea, breaking free, early battles, fighting begins, French friends, John Wesley, George Whitefield, Fleury governs France, eating through the centuries, John Jay, and the Peace Treaty.


SCIENCE

Read about butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, bat pollinators, self-pollination, wind pollination, the pollinated flower, non self-pollinating flowers, and the kids made a flower story and comic.

ART/MUSIC

Kids earned their 4th strip this week, now they have to test again in a few weeks for their yellow belt.
