FIELD TRIP

Went to the library for our weekly S.T.E.M. class:  K did her volunteer hours, D worked on Water Wheel, and ended the week with Tae Kwon Do class.  D has a boot due to him fracturing his small toe in his left foot last week, running with crocs and then fell down and landed on his foot wrong.  K wears a knee brace during her karate class for knee support which her physical therapist supports her doing.  K pulled a tendon in her knee and with therapy it's been getting so much better, she was sitting incorrectly for 2 years playing guitar which has taken a major tow on her left knee, lesson learned.

CONCLUSION

We had to take two weeks off due to me having thyroidectomy of both my thyroids.  I had cancer and thankfully the doctors will able to remove all of it.  Praising God for the healing power over my body, there are several things I'm healing from but putting all my trust in God.  Thankfully my parents were here the 2 weeks I was recovering to not only help me but help with the kids while my husband was at work, a true blessing, made  my recovery so much easier.  This week we got back into the swing of things and we read about Constantine, John Eliot, King Philip, Benedict of Nursia, war against the colonies, apostle to the Indians, Clovis of France, United State of New England, Europe in Charlemagne's time, venerable Bede, religious worlds, the sack of Rome, Europe, a new religion, and Attila defeated at Chalons.  Also read about William Penn, Native Collegians, Eleazar Wheelock, Penn's Woods, the early middle ages, Europe after the Fall of Rome, the society of the Hopewell, the city of Teotihuacan, and the Maya Empire. Learned about snakes, rattlesnakes, lizards, turtles, crocodiles, camouflage, breathing, respiration, large lizards, nervous system, and reaction versus reflect.  Now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
