This week we will learn about Utah, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Thomas Edison, Wright Brothers, Henry Ford, moving through air, parachute, flying, and the Wright Brothers.

READING
Some of the books she has read this week, she picked these books out so she could read them to her brother.
LANGUAGE ARTS
Worked on spelling words and language workbooks.
MATH
Only math for this week was what she helped me with when we went shopping and she was adding things up.
U.S. NOTEBOOK
Wrote a letter to the president. She first told me what she wanted her letter to say, which I wrote down exactly, then she wanted to type it out herself.
Learned about Utah (not pictured and really don't know why I didn't include....lol) Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona.
While reading about the Wrights Brothers the kids played with their mini versions of them.
TIMELINE
Added Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and New Heavens and Earth to our timeline.
ART
No art this week beside the coloring sheets for the states.
SCIENCE
Paper Puzzle and Pyramid Pointer Experiment
Made a video, look below to watch our experiment.
Instead of making a parachute we decided to use our Army parachute toys, video below, then we made paper airplanes.
Made some airplanes and then built our own Glider Planeur we got from Dollar Tree.
Building the plane so little man can pretend to be a pilot.
Neat Styrofoam Airplane
NATURE WALK
Went outside to see some airplanes fly above our house, we live near a airport.

ACTIVITIES
They are excited for the "Grey Seal Puppets" to begin at the library.
These puppet shows were pretty funny.
After the show was done Drew Allison explained to the kids how the puppet show is done.

We had the experience to go see Grey Seal Puppets at our local library, it was an awesome show that not only the kids enjoyed but the adults enjoyed as well. Been a great week of learning and fun.
