MFW: ADVENTURES IN U.S. HISTORY WEEK 12
This week we will learn about the weather, Liberty Bell, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, and different things about birds.

Coloring in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Finishing her New Jersey worksheet
Learned about the Liberty Bell in Pennsylvania.
Made a Liberty Bell using some cups, aluminum foil, and bells. On July 8, 1776 in Pennsylvania, the bell was rung because the Declaration of Independence had just been signed.
We looked through a Georgia magazine and learned some information about the state.

Measuring different types of birds and learning about different ways to find birds and identify them.

NATURE WALK
Love watching the rain especially the sound of it at night, makes for a great night sleep.

Learning about Biomes and the changes each of them go through in her Biome class at one of our homeschool co-ops.
Found this neat worksheet on Worksheet Place website to go with our Biome studies.
She loved making her Biome book, found this on Teachers Pay Teachers Website.
Matching her biome cards with the animals, she got this activity from her teacher at our co-op.
VIDEOS
After listening to Tchaikovsky we watched Little Einstein (since her younger brother loves watching them) while they played some the composer songs on the show.
ACTIVITIES
Story time at the library learning about the different types of stories you can find a book.
Kids made their own book markers after story time to go with their books they picked for reading.
Made some Johnny Cakes with the kids today, they were excited because daddy got to help out in this activity.
Glad we got to make some but we really didn't them, lol :)
This week has been a fun week with lots of hands on activities. We learned about Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Liberty Bell, and birds. Also got to make Johnny Cakes with the family and learn about the different types of Biomes and so much more. Now for next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
