MFW: CTG (4th and 8th Grade) Week 24

This week we will learn about David and Gathsheba, Absalm rebels, King Solomon, and Solomon's glory. Also will read more Children's Homer, Israel under Solomon, the riches of Arabia, King David, osmosis, vertebrates, and invertebrates.

Worked on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, conversation units, and skip counting.

Read about David and Bathsheba, David and Absalom, Solomon is anointed, Solomon's wisdom, Solomon's temple, and the Queen of Sheba.

SCIENCE

Learned more about saltwater, freshwater, osmosis, diffusion, vertebrates, and invertebrates.

ART

Lesson #38: Objects around the house

Continued listening to "The Adventures of Odysseus and the Tale of Troy".

FIELD TRIPS

This week the kids went to the university for their monthly "Seeding your Future" class, this time they learned all about Physics: Electricity.

CONCLUSION

This week we read about David and Bathsheba, David and Absalom, Solomon is anointed, Solomon's wisdom, Solomon's temple, and the Queen of Sheba. Learned more about saltwater, freshwater, osmosis, diffusion, vertebrates, and invertebrates. Kids ended the week going to their monthly class of "Seeding your Future" at the university. Now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
