SCIENCE

Searching for the planets in the rainbow pasta

Took out some parchment paper and regular computer paper and had her rub vegetable oil on the parchment paper.  After rubbing oil on the parchment paper I had her put a few drops on it and on regular paper to see what happens.

On the parchment paper the water would roll off but on the regular paper it would soak right through.

We planted corn in one of our pots and several days later it had already started to sprout.

ACTIVITIES

Went to the library for a special event "Bob the Builder".

They were so excited to meet Bob

Took the kids to Legoland for our vacation. They were so excited.

So many neat statues made out of Legos

Enjoyed every minute at Legoland.

It took us two weeks to finish the lesson.  The kids both got sick so we took things slow.  One of the perks of homeschooling, taking our time.  We learned about pilgrims, thanksgiving, oiled windows, constellations, the patriotic song of the U.S.A. "America", and work on adding 3 numbers together.

GOD BLESS!
