Excited to take a picture with Darth Vador
Joined K with her science experiment: observed how yeast looks under a microscope.
Mixed some yeast with warm water and sugar for our Carbon Dioxide experiment.
Poured the mixture into the glass jar and placed the jar in a dark warm place. Then attached a balloon on top to observe what would happen after a few minutes. Afterwards we observed the carbon dioxide fill the balloon.
K is learning about American Pioneers and how they lived back then. One of the thing we have been learning are how they made butter. We took some whipping cream and placed some in a glass jar and sealed it tight. Then we shook the jar back and fourth till it became butter. It was really neat to see the butter form.
Best part of this experiment was being able to enjoy our butter with some crackers. It was pretty good.
