This week we will read about Dost Mohammad and the Afghanistan invasion, the Triple Alliance and Paraguay, the Dominion of Canada, the great came, Ulysses D. Grant and Newton Laws.

LANGUAGE ARTS

Kids worked on Spanish, the Fireside Poets, writing, cursive, comprehension, lots of reading, and spelling.







MATH 

Worked on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, triangles, and reviews.







HISTORY

Read about the British Invasion, the great game, two tries for freedom, Paraguay and the Triple Alliance, Hiram Revels the first African American Senator, the dominion of Canada, and Nebraska.  










SCIENCE

Learned about naming and writing formals for ionic and covalent compounds, Newton's second law of motion, Newton's third law of motion, acceleration, Sir Issac Newton, and did several experiments.  





ARTS

K worked in her Theater Arts class, computer skills, financial literacy, college prep, guitar, and some art.  D worked on his art worksheets, and drums.

CONCLUSION
