MFW:  1850 to Modern Times and Mia Prep Week 2

This week we will learn about why Sheikh Ali ran, the closed window, the unrecognized guest, the land is your land, states, and chemistry.  In for a busy week with lots of learning and fun.

Kids worked on Spanish, reading, writing, definition, poetry, handwriting, and comprehension.

Worked on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, nets, solid figures, ratios, lines and angles, polynomial, simplify roots, and negative numbers.






HISTORY 

Learned about the French Louisiana, England's colonies, the first Indian wars, New England grows, the pilgrims at Plymouth, the first Indian wars, mercantilism and the crown of England, colonial America, England secures a foothold, the Atlantic colonies, French and Dutch colonies, Spain establishes claims, and the gulf coast and the west.




SCIENCE 

Studied atomic structure, moving matter, solid sleep, moving atoms, liquid motion, going gas, liquid matter, solid matter, solid liquids and liquid solid, and solid matter, viscosity values, gas matter, atoms together and apart, surface tension, in the air, and voluminous expanding gas.

Taekwondo Class the kids received their first green strip.


In Royal Rangers D learns about ax throwing.

CONCLUSION

This week the kids worked on Spanish, reading, writing, definition, poetry, handwriting, and comprehension. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, nets, solid figures, ratios, lines and angles, polynomial, simplify roots, and negative numbers.  Learned about the French Louisiana, England's colonies, the first Indian wars, New England grows, the pilgrims at Plymouth, the first Indian wars, mercantilism and the crown of England, colonial America, England secures a foothold, the Atlantic colonies, French and Dutch colonies, Spain establishes claims, and the gulf coast and the west.  Studied atomic structure, moving matter, solid sleep, moving atoms, liquid motion, going gas, liquid matter, solid matter, solid liquids and liquid solid, and solid matter, viscosity values, gas matter, atoms together and apart, surface tension, in the air, and voluminous expanding gas.  Did theater, college prep, financial literacy, computer skills, Lesson 58: the sower.  We have gotten into the swing of school and are liking the pace we are going.  Now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
