This week the kids worked on reading, spelling, handwriting, Spanish, the Gothic Literature, reading comprehension, and poetry. Worked on triangle inequality theorem, hinge theorem,triangle properties, circumcenter, geometric series, interpret changes in exponential models, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, ratios, fractions, time, distance, and km/h. Read about introduction to labor, business, and government. Also learned about West against East, Japan, Japan reopens, Japan's Meiji restoration, Charles Spurgeon, two more empires, two rebellions, and the Dutch East Indies. Learned about the properties of ionic compounds, accelerating action, David and Goliath, final matters, grasping gravity, gravity, law of universal gravitation, distance dynamics, free falling, diving from the sky, centripetal force, and did several experiments. Did classes in College Prep, Theater, Computer Skills, Art, and Music lesson. Ended the week surprising the kids with a trip to Krispy Kreme for their Pokemon doughnuts. Now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
