This week we will learn about the Commodore Perry in Japan, Japan's Meiji, the Dutch East Indies, Krakatoa, a home for Virginia, the messenger, Holomon Hunt, and Nature studies.

Kids worked on reading, spelling, handwriting, Spanish, the Gothic Literature, reading comprehension, and poetry.






MATH 

Worked on triangle inequality theorem, hinge theorem,triangle properties, circumcenter, geometric series, interpret changes in exponential models, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, ratios, fractions, time, distance, and km/h.






HISTORY

Read about introduction to labor, business, and government.  Also learned about West against East, Japan, Japan reopens, Japan's Meiji restoration, Charles Spurgeon, two more empires, two rebellions, and the Dutch East Indies.






SCIENCE

Learned about the properties of ionic compounds, accelerating action, David and Goliath, final matters, grasping gravity, gravity, law of universal gravitation, distance dynamics, free falling, diving from the sky, centripetal force, and did several experiments.






ARTS

Did classes in College Prep, Theater, Computer Skills, Art, and Music lesson.

CONCLUSION
