This week we will learn about empires, republics, Kingdom France, the Second Reich, Germany, transcontinental railroad, time zones, Thomas Edison, Colorado, and Rutherford B. Hayes. K also starts theater and we are all super excited for her new adventure.

Theatre Arts: Intro to Shakespeare, Financial Literacy: time value of money, Computer Skills: Introduction to Internet research, College Prep: winning with work study, Art: Paint Card IV bold colors and outlines, Craft class: caterpillar, and music lessons in drums and guitar.

CONCLUSION
This week the kids worked on Spanish, dark romantics, vocabulary, spelling, handwriting, reading, and comprehension. Worked on addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, conversation units, decimals, percentages, rations, kilograms, angle side, triangles, and radical expressions. Learned about migration, Rutherford Birchard Hayes, two empires, three republics, one kingdom, the Second Reich, first transcontinental railroad, train travel, building the railroads, wild west, cowboys, cattle drives, Otto von Bismark, the Pacific Railroad, and Thomas Edison. Read about electron geometry, dynamics of motion, lubricant, feeling the friction, increasing friction, traction, cohesion, drag, air and water friction, aerodynamic, and did several experiments. In Theatre Arts: Intro to Shakespeare, Financial Literacy: time value of money, Computer Skills: Introduction to Internet research, College Prep: winning with work study, Art: Paint Card IV bold colors and outlines, Craft class: caterpillar, and music lesson: drum and guitar. Finished the week at Taekwondo class, and getting the best news that K got the part she wanted in her first play. Now to see what adventures are in store for us next week.
