BOOKS OF THE BIBLE
2 Peter is a short letter that warns Christians about the danger of false teachers who were trying to destroy the church.
1 John is a letter that warns us against sin and shows us how to find eternal life by believing in Jesus and living a life of love.
Second book of John warns a mother and her children about false teachers in the church.
Third book of John is a thank you letter from John to his friend Gaus for showing kindness to Christians visiting from other cities.

ARTS & CRAFTS
Art Card #3: "Rue de Paris, wet weather" by Gustave Cailleotte
ACTIVITIES
Soaked 1 cup of black beans in 4 cups of water over night to see how much water it would absorb.
Drained the water, from the pot of beans we left soaking overnight, into a measuring cup. Concluded the beans absorbed 1 cup of water. She was rather disgusted by the color of the water.
Working on Daniel Lion's Den puzzle
SCIENCE
Weighed beans and learned about volume using black beans.
Taking in Water experiment, kids really enjoyed this activity and seeing how different objects would absorb water.

MUSIC
Didn't take a picture, but for this week the kids formed a band and we danced and sang around the house with different instruments.

FIELD TRIP
Went to the library for story time and a chance to meet and take pictures with Santa.
END OF THE WEEK
Went to a retirement home to sing Christmas songs and talk about the reason for the season "JESUS".
This week has been a fun week learning about 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and Babylonian Conquest, The Fiery Furnace, and Daniel and the Lions. Also learned about -s & -es ending, volume, graphing, and water absorption.
