TODDLER PRESCHOOL: FEELINGS & EMOTIONS (Jj, #10, BLACK, CREST)

This week we will be going over our feelings and emotions and facial recognitions. We'll also be learning the letter Jj, number 10, the color black, and the crest shape (moon).

Here are some of the items we used this week for lesson

BOOKS

Some books we used this week

LETTER Jj

Learning the letter Jj

MATH

Practice the number 10 after reading Yertle the Turtle with him.
COLOR

Got a couple of things to show him what the color BLACK was.

ACTIVITIES

Watched the movie "Inside Out", which went perfect for this week theme.

Coloring some of the bracelets to celebrate day 50 of school, got these from Teachers Pay Teachers website.

Silly boy still thinks he could fit in the walker at church

One of Kanani's science activities was to observe feathers which of course he wanted to join in the fun.

Printed it out some emotion/feeling cards to show him what different emotions you can go through.  Can't find the site where I got the cards from, I know it was on Pinterest.

Made these cute sensory balloons for little man and drew different faces on it.  Filled the balloons with flour.

FIELD TRIP

Took the kids to the pool to celebrate day 50 of school

He loves jumping in the pool

END OF THE WEEK

Went to the airport to pick up my mom which of course made the kids very happy since she's been gone for a month.  Great way to end the week.

We learned about our emotions/feelings, letter Jj, number 10, color black, and the crest shape. Now to see what week 14 has in store for us.

GOD BLESS!
