Toddler Preschool: Sense of Sight (Gg, #7, Review: colors & shapes)

TODDLER PRESCHOOL: SENSE OF SIGHT, LETTER Gg, #7, REVIEW COLORS & SHAPES.

This week we will learn about the sense of sight, letter Gg, #7, review colors and shapes.

Some of the items we used this week

BOOKS

Books we used for this week on the sense of sight (Eyes)

LETTER Gg

Working on the sound of Gg

MATH

Learning the number 7

Reviewing some numbers in 1-2-3 a slide and seek book

ACTIVITIES

Pointing out the eyes in the book

Made a peek-a-boo bottle with many different small objects hiding in the sand for little man to find.

Color identification and matching

Went exploring inside and outside the house to see all the things little man could observe.  It was lots of fun watching him go explore on his own.

Before bed Dartanian grabbed the bottle filled with magnetic objects to dump and put back into the bottle.  Great relaxing activity to get him calm before bed.

Went to the airport to drop my mom off, the kids enjoyed watching the planes take off and land.

Great hand eye coordination, placing the beads on the shoe laces.

His sister is studying about rivers, ponds, and streams so we filled their turtle (sand box) with water and used the slide as a pretend waterfall.

Noticed that things were a little quiet so I went to check on little man and caught him playing in the kitchen with some sweet and sour sauce he found on the counter.  I asked him who did this, which he replied "I don't know?", silly little boy.

Of course I made him help clean up the mess he made.

FIELD TRIP

Went to the library for story and craft time, this week we focused on the Olympics

After story time the kids enjoyed some games

Dartanian enjoyed the hula hoop games

Once finished playing their games it was time for crafts, they were very excited when they completed their Olympic torches.

END OF WEEK

Had to run some errands and the kids wanted to wear their capes.  Felt very protective with my two little heroes.

It's been a lot of fun seeing how much Dartanian has grown and learned.  He is always so eager to learn new things and explore the world around him.

GOD BLESS!
