TODDLER PRESCHOOL: SENSE OF TASTE (Ii, #9, BROWN, RECTANGLE)

This week we will be learning the sense of taste, the letter Ii, number 9, color brown, and the rectangle shape.

The kids wanted to draw so I took advantage and went over some of the colors while they were drawing.

ACTIVITIES 

This week we have discussed sea animals, I froze some ice shaped fish so he could enjoy in his bath.

Brought out a tray with a variety of items for them to taste

Due to him being sick this week we had to go to the doctor to make sure all he had was a normal cold and nothing serious.

To go with the sense of taste we discussed proper hygiene on taking care of our teeth, he loves brushing his teeth.

Printed this cute Fish poem and the kids loved it, they even made their own version of the story.  Found it on the Teachers Notebook page.

FIELD TRIP

Even though it has been a rough week for little man due to him fighting a cold, he always finds a way to have fun with Zeus.

END OF THE WEEK 



This was our first trip out of the house since little man has been fighting a cold.  We didn't get to stay at Home Depot to build their skateboards but they still enjoyed their time at home building their projects.

We have had a pretty relaxing week due to Dartanian fighting a cold, but we managed to make the best of the situation.  Learned about the sense of taste, color brown, letter Ii, rectangle shape, and the number 9.  Unto next week where we will learn about our emotions, the color black, number 10, and the crest (moon) shape.
