This week we will learn about John Newton, Richard Allen, freedom, responsibility, Napoleon, revolution, anti-semitic riots, Serbia for cross and freedom, Napoleonic, Europe, the U.S. Constitution, President George Washington, the American Constitution, the Constitution and the Branches of Government, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and all about fruits.

Kids worked on spelling, reading, writing, Spanish, reports, and speech.

Worked on addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, fractions, decimals, and algebra.

Learned about Benjamin Franklin, the American Constitution, aviation is born, three Americans meet in France, John Adams, James Madison, John Newton, Richard Allen, Africa, Mohammed Ali breaks with Ottoman, Boers set out on the Great Trek, the Zulus, Gia-Long unites Vietnam, Stamford Ruffles founds Singapore, first opium war in China, last Maratha war begins in India, Industrial revolution, the year of revolutions, and Turkish fleet smashed at Navarino.

SCIENCE

Read about fruits, water dispersal, mechanical dispersal, human dispersal, wind dispersal, wind dispersal, animal dispersal, velcro, mistletoe, grass, seed droppings, fruit types, fleshy fruits, little gardeners, scattered seeds, and dry fruits.

ART/MUSIC

Painted flower pots so we can transform some flowers into them. 

FIELD TRIP

S.T.E.M. class: building a tower out of plastic cup, Popsicle sticks, and paper plates.

Craft class:  Star Wand

Tae Kwon Do Classs 

CONCLUSION

This week we learned about John Locke, two treatises of government, the French Revolution, Declaration of the rights of man and of the citizen, eating through the centuries, Europe, Africa, Revolutionary War, George Washington, the American Revolution, the peace treaty, empires old and new, Benedict Arnold traitor, Cornwallis surrenders, and Thomas Jeffereson at Monticello.
