This week we will be learning about the Mexican Independence, abolitionists, Africa, the trail of tears, Nat Turner, the cry of Dolores, the republic of Mexico, the Zulu Kingdom, the Boers and the British, Illinois, Alabama, Maine, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, trees growing outward, tree identification, bark rubbing, and gymnosperms.  Also learn about romanticism, Beethoven, Delacroix, America, Africa, Asia, and the world.
