This week we will read about Sennacherib, Hezekiah, envoys from Babylon, Josiah, Jeremiah, Assyria's decline and fall, the city of Babylon, life in Babylon, Babylon conquers Assyria, and Babylon empire.  Also read about land, animals, and people, insects, insect body parts, and how many legs they have.

Learned about Jerusalem survives a siege, King Josiah, the city of Babylon, Assyria's decline and fall, rise of the Chaldean Empire, and Life in Babylon.

SCIENCE

Learned about insects, parts of an insects, how many legs they have, land, animals, and people.

FIELD TRIPS

Went swimming with our co-op group, kids really enjoyed it, we are planning on going to the pool more often.

CONCLUSION

Learned about Jerusalem survives a siege, King Josiah, the city of Babylon, Assyria's decline and fall, rise of the Chaldean Empire, and Life in Babylon.  Learned about insects, parts of an insects, how many legs they have, land, animals, and people.  We observed several bugs outside, of course I took no pictures.  Now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.

This week we will discuss Jonah, Assyria, Hezekiah, Israel taken into captivity, Assyrian war, sunset of Mesopotamian, architecture, and basket weaving.  Read about flight, how birds are designed for flying, and the parts of a bird.

FIELD TRIPS

It was very nice outside so the kids rode their bikes a lot while I went for a walk with our puppy.

This week we will learn more about Elisha, miracles, Naaman, greedy servant, and the Syrians.  We will also read about the basic of flight, takeoff, and thrust.  Going to try to take it easy this week since we all are battling a cold and just trying to recover.

Due to us being sick this week we just stayed home to recover, Kratos got to enjoy the snow which is one of his favorite things.  

CONCLUSION

This week we are all recovering from a cold so we took it pretty slow and easy.  Read about Elisha, provides olive oil for a widow, Naaman gets healed, the son of a woman from Shunem is brought back to life, deadly food in a pot, and Elisha feeds 100 people.  Learned about the basics of flight, takeoff, and thrust.  It has been a tough week but we finished strong, now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
