Went online and observed several painting that Pablo Picasso painted, these two "The Last Supper" and "Mona Lisa" are the two kids favorite. They have seen these painting in many of the places we have visited including when we went to my grandmother's house this summer.

Looking at the many different things Europe has to offer.
While staying with dad, due to having no light at our home because of Hurricane Florence, we found this really neat knife of the Eiffel Tower. Of course D quickly asked to hold it, which I let him with the cover over the knife and supervised the whole time.
Few of the items we have of the Eiffel Tower.
Some small souvenirs of when we visited Pisa, Italy when I was younger. It was nice to share what I remember of my trip when we lived in Germany when I was around D's age.

SCIENCEKids have really enjoyed "The book of Animals", here they are searching for animals in the forest.
Learned about the Classification of Living Things.
Printed some pictures I found in google of Classification of Living Things and Classification of Animals. The kids then took their animals and divided them into groups. Fun way of learning how they are all connected.
Printed these worksheets of Animal Classifications for K to get a better understanding of what we've been studying this week. Got these great worksheets from Teachers Pay Teachers website.
Found another great worksheet for K and D to do together on Teachers Pay Teachers website on living and non-living things.
Printed this worksheet for D to do on his own to see if he understood this weeks lesson on Living and Non-Living Things. Got it from the same website as the above picture. He did a great job with no help from me.
NATURE WALK
Our nature walk really consisted of observing our surrounding of the damage Hurricane Florence has done to our beautiful city. To get the kids mind of the storm and all the work that is ahead of us I filled up the pool and let them have a great day outside while we finished the yard work.

FIELD TRIP
We couldn't go anywhere this week due to preparing for Hurricane Florence this week. The kids have been excellent this week with all the help they have given me and their patience. My husband couldn't help us since he had to work being that he is a police officer, so everything fell on us. We ended up having to pack our things, animals, and food to go move with my dad since we had no light in our house. My husband didn't want to be alone while he was working.
