Food Chain Activities: Teachers Pay Teachers: Food Chain, the other one I found on Pinterest but don't remember the exact site.
While I read about the Food Chain in several of our books she colored in the worksheet (Education.Com pyramid worksheet).
Went on google to search for Food Chain images.
Kids got their eye exams done this week, which went great with what D was learning this week about his senses.
Five Senses: getting a massage and playing with play-doh.
They worked on their 5 senses lapbook, which I made several years ago for K when she was in Kindergarten.
Talked about how God made each of us special, unique, and he loves us very much. Great to remind the kids of how special they are and to always believe in themselves and love themselves just the way they are.
Set up several stations for the five senses for the kids to observe: Sight, Smell, Taste, Listen, and Touch.
Tasting and smelling several items while keeping their eyes closed and trying to guess what the item was.
Hearing and Touch game.
Talked about our body and the many different parts it has and its functions.
Talked about our feelings and learned them in Spanish too.
D wanted to make Skeletor dance and ride on Zeus. Crazy Zeus always wants to be part of school and the center of attention.

Went to a farm close to home for some homemade ice cream with my in-laws.
We always enjoy walking through the farm after enjoying our ice cream.
