MFW:  1850 to MT and ECC Week 16 

This week we will learn about the Boxer Rebellion in China, Theodore Roosevelt, Panama Canal, Czar Alexander II of Russia, Czar Nicholas II, and Russia attempt to Seize Korea.  Read about Spain, Martin Luther, Germany, distance dynamics, accelerating action, centripetal force, and fresh water plants and animals.

Kids read a lot of different stories, handwriting practice, spelling, word search, and story telling.

Worked on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, percentage, and word problems.

Read about China's Troubles, changes in China, government for the people, the Boxer Rebellion, Theodore Roosevelt, Spain, Germany, president for change, regulating foods and drugs, the square deal, conserving natural resources, intervening in the Americans, the Panama Canal, two czars and two emperors, and the czar and the admiral.  










SCIENCE

Learned about distance dynamics, accelerating action, free falling, diving from the sky, centripetal force, fresh water plants and animals, and all about lakes and ponds.  








ART


Lesson 219: Peeking into Everyday Life 

MUSIC/VIDEO

Listened to "Sousa to Satchmo" and "Wee Sing: Swiss Hiking Song, All my little Ducklings".

FIELD TRIP

Went to Washington County Agricultural Education Center: Rural Heritage Museum and Village with the family.  So happy that my parents were in town to go with us.




CONCLUSION
