   MFW: 1850 TO MT AND ECC WEEK 11

This week we will finish up with Brazil, Nate Saint, rain forest, farming, industry, water birds, and the colors in the rain forest. Also learn about Commodore Perry in Japan, Japan's Meiji, the Dutch East Indies, Krakatoa, Charles Spurgeon, multitude of mixtures, heterogeneous mixtures, suspensions and emulsions, homogeneous mixtures, alloys, salute the solute, polar bonds in water, and soapy solutions.

BIBLE

Read about changes in Japan, Japan's Meiji Restoration, West against East, Japan reopens, two more empires, two rebellions, the Dutch East Indies, Charles Spurgeon, and Brazil.





SCIENCE 

Learned about multitude of mixtures, heterogeneous mixtures, suspensions and emulsions, homogeneous mixtures, alloys, salute the solute, polar bonds in water, soapy solutions, and the rain forest.

Watched Rio 1 & 2 to go with our final lesson of Brazil.


FIELD TRIP 

Went to the National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. for National Fossil Day.









CONCLUSION 

This week we finished our lesson on Brazil, continued Nate Saint reading, learned more on the rain forest, farming, industry, water birds, and the colors in the rain forest. Also learned about Commodore Perry in Japan, Japan's Meiji, the Dutch East Indies, Krakatoa, Charles Spurgeon, multitude of mixtures, heterogeneous mixtures, suspensions and emulsions, homogeneous mixtures, alloys, salute the solute, polar bonds in water, and soapy solutions.  Finished the week with K going to a Father Daughter Dance, which she really loved, she loves having that one-on-one time with her daughter whenever she can, he works a lot so she cherishes every minute.   Been a very fun week filled with lot of learning, now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.
