MFW: 1850 TO MT AND ECC WEEK 5

This week we will be learning about the state capitals, James Buchanan, Louisiana Territory, North America, deserts, coping with desert temperatures, and Mexico.  Also read about creating a new territory, taxation without representations, from protest to war, road to rebellion, the Boston Massacre, the Intolerable Acts, the outbreak of war, declaring Independence, the British evacuation of Boston, dark days of war, striking back at Trenton and Princeton, and the British strategy.

We discussed fossils in ice and tar, LIDAR technology, introduction to archaeology, desert, oases, protons, electrons, neutrons, atoms, periodic chart, electron energy, valence valor, bonding basics, and reactive reactions.

FIELD TRIP 

Went to Home Depot Kids Workshop and the kids got to build a Summer Camper.  D got his 50th star for building 50 items, so proud of their dedication to do these workshops.




CONCLUSION
