Took a week off from school to go down to Florida to visit my brother. We needed a change of scenery and some time to just sit back and relax. Normally try to do 6 weeks of school and one week off. Things have been so crazy that I couldn't wait for this week to come.
On the way to Florida, the kids did so good on this long 9 hours drive.
Finally made it to Florida and went to the Farmers Market to enjoy some fresh produce and snacks. By then little man was out again, so proud of how well he behaved in this trip.
Finally meet our niece Lilly, she is so perfect and sweet.
Our handsome nephew, Gus, we love this little man and are always excited to see him.
Pool time Fun
Took the kids to the Children's Museum of the Treasure Coast, they had such a blast. She wants to be a vet when she gets older.
The kids are fixing a car, our little mechanics.
Bigger version of the Operation Game
Fire Fighters on the way to the rescue
Learning about our bodies
Pirate ship fun
This pirate ship was so cool, they even got to blast balls as if it were a canon ball.
Fishing
Dress up time
Mail carrier Kanani
Construction site, building a house
Drawing and more building time
Outside the museum
Learning about parachutes
Dentist Kanani and Dartanian
Went for a walk around the neighborhood and then went for a little sight seeing
Went to the arcade for the kids to do something different
Lots of fun games
After the arcade my brother took us to a Seafood Restaurant
Stopped by Martin County Beach for the kids to enjoy some time at the beach
Got a chance to experience Hutchinson Island Beach, the water was clear and warm.
Found a beautiful part at the beach to get these great shots of the kids on some rocks by the beach
So peaceful and relaxing
So excited to have found a spot where we could swim with some fish, it brought back lots of memories of when I lived in Oahu when I was younger and swam with some fish at Hanauma Bay Beach. Glad to have been able to share such a wonderful experience with my kids.
After the beach we went to the pool that's in my brother's neighborhood to rinse off all the salt water and sand. Of course the kids didn't mind at all since they just love the water.
Great memories were made with my family
Can't wait to go back to make more memories
On our way back home we stopped at South of the Border, Kanani was so excited since this was her and Dartanian's first time here.
Kanani couldn't wait to get home and tell her dad all about her trip to FL and South of the Border.
Times like this is where I am so thankful we homeschool. Very happy to have been able to just up and leave and have a wonderful week visiting my brother and getting some relaxation before getting back to our school week.
GOD BLESS!
