MFW: RtR (5th Grade) and AHL (9th Grade) Week 32-33
This week we combined weeks 32-33, they were short weeks, which made is easier to just combine them. We will learn about about Anne Askew, John Calvin, John Knox, Latimer Ridley, Cranmer, more on the reformation, the queen who almost wasn't, the council of Trent, and Galileo. Read Daniel, Job, about Neptune, invertebrates, and evolution.

Also read about native North America, Mississippi towns, trading towns, pierced pots, pueblo people, crafts, North American Indians, a new world, early voyages, Sparta, the Greeks at War, and the first marathon.

Learned about Neptune, who named it, orbit and rotation, atmosphere, moons, eureka, Kuiper belts, dwarf planets, God's creativity, what a planet is, Ceres, Pluto, Eris, strange orbit, Haumea, and Makemake. Also learned about invertebrates in Phylum Chordata, challenges of evolution, Cambrian explosion, characteristics of vertebrates, Agnatha, characteristics of fish, and spawning.
FIELD TRIP
Went with the family to "The People's House: White House Experience" and they walked to around Washington D.C. to observe the Cherry Blossoms.
