This week was our Christmas break. We did many different activities and talked about the real reason we celebrate Christmas "The Reason for the Season JESUS".

ACTIVITIES
Every year we make ornaments using the kids hands for their grandparents and for ourselves. This year we made little elves and reindeers out of their thumbprints.

Went to our annual Christmas party at the Fayetteville Police Department. The kids always look forward to these parties to see Santa.
Kids got some wonderful presents from Santa
We are truly blessed to have this wonderful teacher in Kanai's life "Darrell Tyner", he is one of the youth leaders. She is not one to get close to someone or get excited whenever she sees someone. But when it comes to Pastor Tyner she is over the moon about him. May God continue to bless him as he blesses those around him.

FAMILY TIME
Every year my brother comes for Christmas, he has promised to always be here for Christmas since the day Kanani was born. The kids love him so much and are on him like glue whenever he is in town. Its hard for me to even get some time alone with him. Such a wonderful bond between all of them.
Going shopping with him is always an adventure
Kids have loved having daddy home for a week, he is always working and isn't home much. Whenever he is home is always a great time.
CHRISTMAS DAY
This year we celebrated Christmas at our home, due to both sets of grandparents being in Puerto Rico this year. The kids helped set the table and even helped me in the cooking process.

SCIENCE
Got the kids some science experiments for Christmas, Kanani got a ice growth experiment. It was so cool seeing the cubes expand, and it came with a polar bear toy.
Dartanian got a snow making experiment. It was so neat seeing the snow grow in a cup and then playing with the snow. He's experiment also came with a penguin toy.
POEM

END OF THE WEEK
Took the kids to the park to enjoy some time with their favorite uncle before he left back to Florida. Great way to end the week.
It has been a pretty great and relaxing week. Just some of the things we did this week.
