Loved how the blue looked on the celery leaves, the red didn't show up as good.

After observing the water climb up the celery stem I cut a thin piece of the celery so we could take a closer look through the microscope.  She loves using the microscope every chance she can.

After looking through the microscope we dissected the celery sticks to see how the water traveled up the stem.

One of our bean plant grew quite nicely the other one not so much.  We planted three beans into three pots and are going to watch them grow and then we will do the experiment in the book.  Putting one in the dark and watering every 3 days, one in the daylight and watering every 3 days, and the third one in the daylight but not watering it.

Placed three beans in a jar with paper towels, we have done this experiment before and it's really neat to watch the seeds grow.
