MFW: ECC & K4 WEEK 26
This is our last week on our studies on China. We will be learning about Gladys Aylward, do several salt experiments, and learn to the oceans. Also learn about Tibetans, introduction to oceans, and enjoy several crafts. Little man will learn the letter Bb, continue working on his numbers, colors, and shapes.

Tried our hand at painting a Cat like painter Shen Quan
Tangram Design Game, kids enjoyed making their own designs and little man loved stacking them.

Getting a taste of salt water, by little man's look I don't he liked it....lol.
Is salt water denser than fresh water experiment, we noticed the egg floated in salt water and sank in fresh water.
Salt Crystals Experiment: our crystals showed up on the outside of the jar instead of the paper clip in the jar. At least it was neat to look at.

Walked around the park looking at all the beautiful light from the N.C. Chinese Lanterns.

Since we were learning about the Ocean we decided to watch "Finding Nemo".

FIELD TRIP
Ended our studies on China by going to N.C. Chinese Lanterns.
Loved looking at all the different beautiful lights.

My favorite part of the lights
We finished our studies on China this week. The best way to finish the week was going to the Chinese Lanterns with my family. Learned about the ocean, sea life, and were able to identify the different types of ocean. Talked about the butterfly life cycle, worked on numbers, shapes, letters, and colors. Also talked about Gladys Aylward. Now unto next week to start our studies on Japan.
