Reviewed the story of Jesus is Crucified, Jesus is Risen, and Jesus is taken up to Heaven.

SCIENCE

Learned about water power, powering machinery, and made a experiment to demonstrate water getting stronger.  Used a water bottle poked 3 holes on the side of it and then taped the holes.  Filled the bottle with water and then un-taped the holes to see which hole would have the most pressure.

Made a water wheel using what we had on hand, 2 paper plates, egg carton, and a skewer.  D loved this experiment and wants one that won't damage when it gets wet.  I have a video of the experiment working but for some reason can't seem to download it.

This week we studied our planet Earth and the Moon, how God made it a perfect distance from the sun, it has a perfect rotation, perfect design, perfect mass, and perfect atmosphere.

K added Earth and the Moon to our planet line.

Seeing how even though two objects may be the same size it doesn't mean their mass is the same.

Understanding the Seasons Experiment

Another understanding the seasons experiment.

Earth has the perfect tilt.

Earth has the perfect magnetosphere, and read about different spacecrafts that study the our planet.

Learned about using a compasses, couldn't make one of our own since we didn't have the materials, but K used the compass on her phone to demonstrate where North, South, East, and West are.

Found a neat picture of how small the earth to the sun on Space Spot Instagram page.
