MFW: RtR (5th Grade) and AHL (9th Grade) Week 34
Can't believe this is our last week of school, it has been such a fun learning year, in between all the drama that has taken place in our lives. We have all grown so much this year and have learned more about ourselves through it all. Give God the glory for helping us through everything this year, just amazed at how he has blessed us and continues to bless us everyday. This week we will read more in the book of Daniel, learn about the power of Persia, running an empire, Persepolis, the royal road, tomb treasure, victory for Greece, the great pyramid, divided kingdom, spreading the word of God, and early explorations.

Kids worked on reading, writing, spelling, finishing research paper, poetry, Greek, and Spanish.

Worked on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, word problems, and skip counting.

Read more in the book of Daniel, learned about the power of Persia, running an empire, Persepolis, the royal road, religion soldiers and armies, the Greeks at war, Sparta, tomb treasure, the pyramid, mummies, later tombs, spreading the word of God, translators, the lost colony, Walter Raliegh, and the new found land. Also read about the early explores, Portuguese, Africa, the East Indies, Brazil, Jacques Cartier's discoveries, the reformation, Spain and England War, and the world at the end of the sixteenth century.

Also learn more on Sputnik, going to space, space race, and the international space station.
ARTS
FIELD TRIP
This was K's last week of volunteer work till after the summer, she still will do some volunteer work at the library here and there just not every week. Unfortunately D wasn't able to attend due to him being sick.
