This week we will be learning about Sennacherib and Hezekiah, Babylon, Josiah, and Jeremiah. Also learn about how Babylon conquered Assyria, land animals focusing on insects, and learning a new Greek word: BIOS (life). Little man will continue his studies on the Fruit of the Spirit, review letter recognition and the sound each one makes, reading, introduction to multiplication, skip counting, and recognition of his numbers with lots of handwriting practice.

Coloring in the Fruit of the Spirit worksheet as I discussed the meaning of each one.
After they completed their worksheets we cut out the circles and taped them to a string and taped it to the entrance of the school room.
SCIENCE
Lesson 76: Land Animals and People
Experiment 76: Trapping some creepers: instead of trapping them in a jar we looked under rocks around the yard to see what creatures were hiding.
Experiment 77: How many legs?: we observed how different each one was and how many legs some had compared to other.
We added more fun for the Fruit of Spirit. Kids added some fruits to their basket and would discuss what each one meant to them.
MUSIC
Watched several different videos on YouTube on the Fruit of the Spirit and we also listened to more "Handel".

FIELD TRIP
Surprised the kids with a trip to "Tads Dairy Barn" for some homemade ice cream, very good ice cream. We will definitely be returning for some more.

Today was a pretty warm day which meant we were outside for most of the day.
Love my little family.
The kids have really loved playing this game, not sure what it is called we call it the Noodle Game. We each hold a pool noodle, then when someone says Go we let go and try to get someone else's noodle before it falls down. Lots of laughing and fun during this game.
