This week we will learn about U.S. Westward Expansion, factories, stocks, carnegie, Sino-Japanese War in Korea, moving west, the growth of the USA, philanthropists, outlaws, and the Korean Battle ground. Also learn about gypsies, farming, industry, Eiffel Tower, balance of nature, describing living things, railroads, and Indian wars. Will read about dynamics of motion, feeling the friction, traction, increasing friction, adhesion, lubricant, and endangered species, Eugene P. Odum, and man's impact on the environment.

LANGUAGE ARTS
Reading, spelling, writing, and sentence building.
MATH
Did addition, subtraction, division, fractions, multiplications, percentages, and skip counting.

Learned about Mary McLeod Bethune, Katherine Lee Bates, America the Beautiful, pioneer breakfast, settling the west, railroads, the expanding United States, moving west, train travel, cowboys and cattle drives, the Indian wars, conflict erupts into war, homesteading, stocks, philanthropists, outlaws, the Korean Battleground, Tyndale, Vision, France, and Italy.
SCIENCE
Started the week witnessing the blood moon (at 5:30 a.m.), so happy to have been able to finally it. Did many experiments and discussed dynamics of motion, traction, feeling the friction, increasing friction, adhesion, lubricant, Eugene P. Odum, man's impact on the environment, and endangered species.
