BOOKS
Few books we used this week.
ARTS/CRAFTS
Made some four leaf clovers and taped them to some paper, then the kids colored on top of the paper trying to cover all around the clover. Once done they peeled off the clover to relieve their work.
Kids made some cute St. Patrick's hats, you can find the pattern on
Just is a four letter word website.
Talked about rainbows and all its beautiful colors and then the kids made these tasty bracelets with cereal. D loved eating them so his bracelet only had about 5 on it.
Once done with all their crafts I hid several lucky clover coins, bought a bag of these at Target, around the living room. The kids loved searching all over the living room for the coins. Played several games of find the coins. It was fun watching how excited they got searching for the coins.
With St. Patrick's Day being around the corner, have your preschooler or older child help the leprechaun find his way back to the gold with this fun worksheet. For more Educational Resources, visit Education.com!

It's been a very eventful week learning about St. Patrick and how he came from England across the sea to be a slave in Ireland. Patrick was a shepherd but he missed his parents so much that he escaped. He went back to Ireland to teach people to be kind to each other. Learned that St. Patrick scared all the snakes out of Ireland. St. Patrick brought a special plant to Ireland a shamrocks. May people celebrate this day whether they are Irish or not. It's lots of fun learning about other cultures, different celebrations, and the ways people live.
