This week we will learn about Zephaniah, Habakkuk, Obadiah, King Jehoiachin taken to Babylon, Jeremiah, fall of Jerusalem, architecture, pottery, the Neo-Babylonian Empire, and the Iliad.  Also read about Ottoman Turks, Constantinople, Ferdinand and Isabella, Spain, Henry the Navigator, war of the Roses, triumphs, Turks, Suleiman the lawgiver, Ferdinand and Isabella, Henry the Navigator, prince of Portugal, and the princes in the tower.

Kids worked on their reading, spelling, Greek, Spanish, and more research for their reports.

Worked on algebra, fractions, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and word problems.

Read about the Ottoman Empire, Turks, the sheep-rocks, the capture of Constantinople, the crusaders, the end of the Seljuks, the Iberian Peninsula, Africa, voyages of discovery, Henry the Navigator, being humble like Christ, Daniel, Gabriel, cathedral, inventions, pots and wheels, architects, metalwork, mastering metal, crafts, Celtic crafts, the Nok people, Barbarian treasures, war of roses, the princes in the tower, Lancaster weakens, Spain, and Portugal.

Learned all about the moon, its phases, lunar eclipse, lunar atmosphere, the moon's gravity, who named the moon, spacecraft to the moon, invertebrates, phylum porifera, ectothermic organism, hermaphroditic, and metamorphosis.

FIELD TRIP

We enjoyed lots of time outdoors, the weather was amazing, not too cold, and went on a lot of walks.


CONCLUSION

This week we read about the Ottoman Empire, Turks, the sheep-rocks, the capture of Constantinople, the crusaders, the end of the Seljuks, the Iberian Peninsula, and Africa.  Also read about the voyages of discovery, Henry the Navigator, being humble like Christ, Daniel, Gabriel, cathedral, inventions, pots and wheels, architects, metalwork, mastering metal, crafts, Celtic crafts, the Nok people, Barbarian treasures, war of roses, the princes in the tower, Lancaster weakens, Spain, and Portugal.  Learned all about the moon, its phases, lunar eclipse, lunar atmosphere, the moon's gravity, who named the moon, spacecraft to the moon, invertebrates, phylum porifera, ectothermic organism, hermaphroditic, and metamorphosis.  Busy week of learning and studying, now unto next week to see what adventures are in store for us.

This week we will learn about Micah, Ancient Greece, Josiah, Nahum, Greek women and the home, Greek houses, clothes, fashion, farming, food, marketplace, and the Iliad.  Also read about black death, France and England at War, the Hundred Years War, Joan of Arc, the plague, nationalism and the Renaissance, a new way of living, towns, traders, European Society changes, the rise of Burgundy, and all about the earth.

She has gotten into drawing a lot lately, so happy to see her progress with each drawing.

FIELD TRIP

Enjoyed our time at the library for their weekly S.T.E.M. class to make different items using roll up newspapers.


K has started learning how to drive in our church parking lot, for it to be her first time she did amazing.  Can't believe she is already learning how to drive, my has the time flown by.
